Pullulan (Cosmetic Grade) is a fermentation-derived, water-soluble polysaccharide used in cosmetics to provide a luxuriantly smooth texture, film-forming lifting effect, adhesiveness and lubricity. It is freely soluble in water, has lower viscosity in aqueous solution than many other polysaccharide thickeners, and is used to impart instant lifting, wrinkle tightening, long-lasting wear in make-up (foundations, mascaras) and improved body in serums and creams.
